To maximize your enjoyment, we believe the quicker you can switch to feeling ‘at home but on holiday’ the more you’ll enjoy your stay. For that reason the property comes with its own property manager who will ensure that for your arrival Matakauri is meticulously prepared to your specific requirements.  If the weather suggests, the open fire will be burning as the Pinot Noir - for which this region is famous - breathes.

After being met on site, you will be given a tour of Matakauri to ensure you’re as familiar and comfortable with it as you would your own home. And throughout your stay, our property manager is on call. Whether you’d rather a chef work the kitchen for that sumptuous stay-in meal; a spot of shopping ordered; the maid service booked; an in-house measure up for ski hire organised; airport transfers priced; and restaurant bookings coordinated, it’s all just a phone call away.
